How To Activate Night Mode On Twitter App For Android

Twitter has just released another version of its Android app which features Night Mode that prevent the rays of light coming from your screen to affect your eyes. Though Twitter is not the first cos we can see that in some browsers like Opera, Ucweb and more other browsers that feature it.

We know that the default background color of Twitter do affect the eyes due to it brightness at night or even in dark places. Fans and users have laid complaints to the Twitter Team. And now they have come to their aid.

This feature of Night Mode is currently available for all Android phones worldwide and we hope Facebook follows the train soon or later.

HOW TO ACTIVATE TWITTER NIGHT MODE ON ANDROID

  1. Kindly Update your Twitter app on Google playstore or download it if you don't have it installed on your device yet.
  2. After you must have installed the app, kindly login and you should see the new toggle located at the navigation menu when you tap on your profile picture.
  3. Now tap the toggle to activate Night Mode and you will see the Dark blue hue background color.

As you can see in my below screenshot, i just activated Entclass Blog Twitter account on my Android.

You might not see the option immediately when you update your Twitter app. All you have to do is to Force Stop the app and open it again. Now you should see the option when you tap on your profile picture/navigation menu.

This is a welcome development and will also prevent too much light from affecting your eyes at night or even in dark places.
