Mtn 4G LTE network is already available in Lagos state for quite sometime now. And now, they're running a trial test for the 4G LTE network. The trial has already begun and MTN made an announcement that the 4G LTE network will soon be available for general use.
According to MTN, this is what they have to say;
Though MTN is not the first to launch a 4G LTE network as Smile and Ntel are already offering 4G LTE network. According to source, there is no information on how long this MTN 4G LTE trial test will run.

The test run will “be available for now for only Visafone customers, currently provisioned on the 800 MHz band”. We are not sure how this pans out because we are aware that MTN has been migrating subscribers off Visafone’s platform for a while now to pave way for the 4G LTE launch.
