That moment when you newly bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and used it for some days and one day you leave it to charge while you go out to get something, on coming back, you hear a sound and quickly you ran to check what went wrong and you met your new Galaxy Note 7 blown up.
Many users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been a victim of this blown up. According to source, over 40 cases has been globally reported. Now, the company is giving out another device to the victims affected until they get a better phone.
The company has officially said what happened. You can equally read the official statement from Samsung;
The battery that comes with the phones we use now are all made up of Lithium battery. The Lithium material used in making phone's batteries is very reactive in the sense that when a faulty battery overheats, the cells open up, resulting in a chain reaction of other cells breaking. This is what causes batteries to explode in many cases – a simple short circuit or a design flaw could trigger this.
The recalling process could cost Samsung as much as US$1 billion. We hope Samsung recovers from this malady caused by a very rare manufacturing process error.

“Based on our investigation, we learned that there was an issue with the battery cell. An overheating of the battery cell occurred when the anode-to-cathode came into contact which is a very rare manufacturing process error. We are working with multiple suppliers to ensure that a rigorous inspection process is conducted to ensure the quality of our replacement units and we do not anticipate any further battery issues.”
