Victor KachiOctober Security Patch Update Starts Hitting Samsung Galaxy A8, J7 Prime, and Core Prime
Samsung has started rolling out latest Android security update to some of its smartphones. The Galaxy J7 Prime, A8 and Core Prime have started receiving the security update and also brings along Android security patch for October 2016.
The update brought a new security level of October 1, i.e; 2016-10-01. Below screenshots shows the build.prop files of the phones.
As the case may be, OTA roll out may take some time before hitting your device. But, if you can't wait for the notification to hit your phone, kindly navigate to your phone's settings => About phone to check for the update.
