Facebook Added Native Camera Feature To Its Messenger App

Early this morning when i decided to launch my Facebook Messenger app, i got a camera popup, though in a selfie mode. This feature has been out few weeks ago, but Facebook just decided to roll out the feature to every Messenger users worldwide. Like seriously, the new UI of Messenger now looks more like Snapchat now.

The new Facebook Messenger UI has been tweaked a little bit, which is now card-shaped. There is a Camera shutter button always available at the bottom of the app. To take a selfie, just tap on the shutter icon, while to record a video, just long-press the shutter. There are also 3D masks, special effects and stickers attached to the new Camera.

Facebook also added a "Palette icon", that gives you a blank page to design with stickers and arts. You can check them out and play around with it.

All these features doesn't require you to update your Messenger app, as it has been automatically added to the app. Kindly launch your Messenger app and see things for yourself.

How do you see the new features added to Facebook Messenger? Cool or Trash?
