Mozilla Firefox to end support for Windows XP and Vista

Mozilla Firefox to end support for older versions of Microsoft OS, which are Windows XP and Windows Vista. If you are among the users using these old OS, then it's time for you to update your system to a more recent version.

In order to keep enjoying Mozilla Firefox browser on your system, then you need to upgrade your OS as soon as possible. The deadline for Mozilla to permanently end its support to Windows Vista and XP is June 2018.

According to Mozilla, they said;
"We strongly encourage our users to upgrade to a version of Windows that is supported by Microsoft. Unsupported operating systems receive no security updates, have known exploits, and are dangerous for you to use".

Remember when Google Chrome ended support for Windows XP and Vista platform last year. Microsoft's own browser Internet Explorer has ended support for Windows XP. Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014, after 12 years of continually keeping the operating system safe.

The company ended support for Windows Vista, which was an immediate update over Windows XP, on April 11, 2017.

    Windows XP remains more secure than recent ms windows in terms of government espionage. Windows 10 especially is a spy app. Do your sensitive works on Linux or xp (if it's more convenient).
