Samsung Pay is a mobile wallet which is used to purchase anything without any hassle. The service is much popular in India, though it's gradually rolling out globally to compete with other services from Google and Apple.
Samsung Pay's MST technology is the most common at payment terminals in India, and now, it's gaining another cool feature that allows you pay for bills.
Bill payment was recently launched by Google earlier this month, December 2017, when it announced the rollout of bill payments for its India-exclusive Tez app. Now, Samsung has just introduced same feature to its payment service in India which is powered by Bharat BillPay.
Users will be able to set up bill payments for phone (mobile and landline), gas, water, electricity, and DTH through Samsung Pay, which is powered by NPCI’s universal Bharat Bill Payments system (BBPS).
Now, paying for bills in India has been made easier and should be more secure. Also, you can set up helpful reminders and easily make payments on-the-go.
If you've already got the app installed on your smartphone and you live in India, you should have received a notification enabling you to use the service. But on the off chance you live in India but don't have the app, kindly download it below.
