Steps To Install XOS Chameleon UI On Infinix Zero 3 And Note 2 LTE

Infinix XOS Chameleon v2.0.0 has been released. This user interface is just a customized XUI which is the default interface. Now Infinix Zero 3 and Note 2 LTE users can now upgrade to XOS interface.

This new interface packs some new features which one of it is the 3 fingers feature that allows you to take screenshot by simply swiping 3 fingers accross your screen. You won't be using the volume(-) and power key or using the drop down menu.

Currently, the update is already out via OTA for the Infinix Zero 3 and Note 2 LTE users. I will also drop an alternative link to download the update and also steps to install it via your SDcard.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Unroot your phone if it's rooted
  • Check your built number and download according to your built number.

For Zero 3 X552-H952-A1 (Download SDcard, SP flash)
For Zero 3 X552-H952-B1 (SDcard, SP flash)

Note 2 Lte X600 A1 Build: (SDcard, SP flash)
Note 2 Lte X600 B1 Build: (SDcard, SP flash)

STEPS TO INSTALL VIA SD CARD

I will be dropping only the steps and methods to install this interface using SD card.
Install update using OTA package or TCard package
·         Download the relevant OTA package or TCard package,
·         Extract it and place the 'update.zip' to the root of your SD Card (if already extracted, rename it as 'update.zip') ,
·         Then, Follow Method 1 or Method 2.

Method 1:
Goto ·Settings > About phone > System update > Options > Update from local > Select 'update.zip' and install it.
Now, don't press anything, wait for the operations to complete and it will automatically reboot itself.

Method 2:
·  Turn off your Infinix Smartphone (and boot to recovery mode)
·   To boot into recovery mode, you need to switch off your phone.
·   Press and hold volume up button and power button
·   If you see Android bot with a danger sign
·   Press and hold power button again and press volume up button once
·   Up / Down button to select 'Apply update from SD card'
·    Scroll to where the 'update.zip' file is located and select with the Power Button

Now, don't press anything, wait for the operations to complete and it will automatically reboot itself.
