Before now, we have the ability to post videos, emoticons, smileys and photos in Facebook comments; the social networking site set to support animated GIFs in comments. This comes as a good news to all the GIFs lovers.

Facebook on the verge of releasing Reaction and Mention feature on Messenger app, is here with another feature that will allow you post GIFs in comment box.

"Everyone loves a good GIF and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments, So we’re about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test." - a Facebook spokesperson said.

Initially, the feature will be made available to only a small number of Facebook users, and if the feedback is positive, the functionality will likely be rolled out to all users worldwide.
