GBoard for Android Now Support Emoji & GIF Suggestions, Live Translation Feature

Google has pushed out a new update to its own Android app GBoard. GBoard has grown since it launched to become a standalone keyboard app for Android. Even at that, latest smartphones now comes pre-installed with Gboard app, making it the default keyboard.

Recently, Google has added some cool features to its keyboard app Gboard. Gboard now support emoji suggestions (just as seen in other keyboard apps), GIF suggestions has been added too and also translation of words directly in the keyboard.

With the new Gboard words translation feature, you no longer need to switch from one app to another, just to translate words (like using Google's Translate app). Sadly, you’ll still need to use the translate app if your message is in a foreign language. Gboard only translate English words to your desired languages when typing.

This feature has already been seen in GBoard 6.1 Beta, but is now rolling out with the latest version of GBoard.

In addition, emoji and GIFs can be inserted to the text without having to switch to the emoji or GIF selection tool (for supported apps). Google has also added some scenic and dynamic backgrounds to give keep things new. The update should still be rolling out, you just have to chill while the roll out is complete.
