Firefox To Discontinue Its Support On Windows XP and Windows Vista

Firefox has officially announced that it will discontinue its browser support on older versions of Windows operating system. This clearly means that, Windows XP and the Windows Vista would stop getting an update from Mozilla Firefox browser. Users of the operating systems will be moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) March next year.

This is what Firefox has to say about the plans to end support for Windows XP and Vista;
Firefox is one of the few browsers that continues to support Windows XP and Vista, and we expect to continue to provide security updates for users until September 2017. Users do not need to take additional action to receive those updates. In mid-2017, user numbers on Windows XP and Vista will be reassessed and a final support end date will be announced.

Users are strongly advised to upgrade their system to the latest version to continue enjoying the browser and keep getting security updates. By September 2017, Firefox will end support for the above listed operating systems.
