YouTube Rolling Out Non-Skippable Videos Ads to all Channels

YouTube is here with yet another update that will let video ads on the video you want to watch to be non-skippable starting from September 2018. I love spending some cool time watching YouTube videos, but this new update isn't cool to me if you ask me.

YouTube has officially announced the feature which is set to be effective beginning from September 2018. As a user, you won't be able to skip ads, and this is rolling out to all channels which monetize their videos with Google ads.

Before now, there have been 5 seconds skippable ads on YouTube videos, but soon, you are likely to see ads which can't be skipped. According to a Google Help page, the max video length for non-skippable ads is 15 to 20 seconds.

This update has been available for quite sometime but to some selected users for experimental purpose. Now, YouTube is rolling it out to the public. This has been designed so video creators can get the chance to earn more money.

This feature, when rolled out would apply to all monetized videos. And as a video creator, you will make more money via this compulsory "must watch" advert from Google.
